FAQ’s
Do you pay commission?
Yes, we pay a base commission of 10% to Travel Agencies (US & Canada based only). Commissions are paid by check 30 days after travel is completed.
What is your specialty?
We believe that the best way to experience Alaska is by land. Our land programs take your clients “off the beaten path” and show them the authentic Alaska lifestyle.
Are your tours pre-packaged?
No. All our trips are tailor-made. You tell us what your client is looking for. We put a customized itinerary together for your review. It is no problem to make changes until we finalize the perfect itinerary for your client.
How do I plan an Alaska trip for my client?
“One call does it all”.
Once you contact us, we plan the itinerary details of the trip directly with you and your client. We promise professional, personalized service from the initial inquiry to the final farewells. It is your job to qualify the client, it is our job to create an itinerary to match.
Are your tours for active clients only?
No. Your clients can be as active or relaxed as they choose to be.
Do you accept group bookings?
Yes, small groups only. We’ve capped our group tours at 8-10 guests. Our small groups and personalized service allow your clients to enjoy the beauty, culture, flavor, and excitement of Alaska not from a well-trodden tourist track, but from the perspective of an insider.
We offer commission to travel agents on all tours, whether you’re booking individual clients or small groups.
Will you assist my clients while they are traveling?
Absolutely. Exceeding your client’s expectations is our number one priority, and we have the track record to prove it. While in Alaska, your clients have access to our 24-hour traveler hot-line. If they run into any problems or have questions during their trip they can get in touch with us by phone or email.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Cards. For your guest’s security all advance deposits received are held in a separate bank account until after their trip is completed.
What are your payment terms?
Once a reservation is confirmed we ask for a deposit of 30% of the total price.
Final payment is due at 45 days prior to arrival. We will send you an email two weeks before final payment is due.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation fees are based upon a percentage of the total invoice amount and the time in which the cancellation is received: 10% of invoice total: any time after our written confirmation/invoice has been sent 50% of invoice total: 59 – 46 days prior to your first day of travel 100% of invoice total: 45 days or less prior to your first day of travel Our standard cancellation terms apply to the majority of services we offer. For clients who start their tour in Anchorage, Travel Documents will be delivered to their first hotel or bed and breakfast.
