We travel to the places and go on the excursions to ensure that every element on every ATC itinerary is top quality. Our knowledgeable, local, multilingual tour guides cater to small groups or families who want to get away from the crowds and connect with Alaskans and nature. We think outside the box and perfectly tailor excursions, style of accommodation, and route for every client. Alaska is our home, let our expertise help you realize the vacation of your dreams.

Our team

Isabelle Bornemann - Owner
Originally from Germany “Isi” came to Alaska in 1985, when her father promised a trip to Hawaii if she would visit him in Anchorage where he was working as a geologist at the time. It turns out that this single, life-altering visit changed her path forever.
In 1994, she packed her bags and said goodbye to Europe and made Alaska her new home. Speaking German quickly landed Isabelle a job in Alaska’s tourism industry.
Over the next 20 years, she traveled extensively throughout Alaska, began guiding trips, and started her own business of planning personalized itineraries to the far-flung corners of Alaska.

Cordula Page - Operations Manager
Cordula was born and raised near Frankfurt, Germany, where she met her future husband, an officer in the US Army. She came to Alaska for the first time in 1991 and received a BA degree in Anthropology from UAA.
Military life had her move across the US and Germany, but Alaska stayed always in her heart. After her husband’s retirement in 2005, they packed up their 2 kids and 2 guinea pigs and drove across the U.S. back to Alaska, where they made a permanent home.
In 2006, Cordula started working as tour guide for European groups and has guided close to 100 groups by now. In the off season, she is working in the group department and accounting and attends trade shows for ATC.

Michelle Slowik - Tour Consultant
Michelle moved to Alaska when she was three years old. As a lifelong Alaskan, she has visited just about all the places that visitors want to see while traveling.
Her firsthand knowledge of Alaska, from our larger cities like Anchorage and Fairbanks, to the smaller remote places like Kennicott or the Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge make her the perfect travel planner for your tailor-made trip.
She enjoys living near Hatcher’s Pass, close to Independence Mine, which attracts visitors year round. Michelle loves Alaska and doesn’t see herself living anywhere else!

William Franklin - Website Manager
Will was born and raised in Texas and moved to Alaska with his family in 2007. He graduated in 2019 from the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Arts. There, he worked at KRUA 88.1 FM as a student employee full time.
Will hopes to continue a career in web development, while painting, traveling, and exploring the outdoors in his free time.
